Democrat Tim Mahoney And His Sex Scandal
Florida Democrat Tim Mahoney had an illicit affair with one of his campaign aides, then tried to buy the silence of his mistress to the tune of over $120,000.
Mahoney’s only defense is that he didn’t break any laws during this event. So what? Mark Foley - who resigned the Congressional seat Mahoney now holds - was acquitted of both state and federal charges connected with the “page scandal”. Yet Foley was the focus of an intense amount of scrutiny from Democrats and the press two years ago, as the Democrats tried to make “corruption” central to their party platform.
In this aftermath, what is clear is this:
- Mark Foley was cleared of his charges, yet did the honorable thing and stepped down immediately
- Tim Mahoney has all but admitted his affair - and tape recorded conversations exist to support the notion - yet he refuses to step down
- The press is complicit in hiding this event to protect Democrats. Searching for “Mark Foley” on Google returns over 1,000,000 results two years after the fact, yet searching for “Tim Mahoney” on Google returns about 1/3 of that number, even though Mahoney’s scandal is a current news item
It’s undeniable that the media is in the tank for the Democrats, and it’s undeniable that Tim Mahoney is behaving with utter cowardice. Of course, he’s taking his orders from Nancy Pelosi who is I’m sure telling Mahoney to just let this blow over.
And it will. Because the media won’t tell anyone about it.
